Sacred Eels: A Mysterious Species

Sacred eels are found in the Piscarilius House in Great Kourend, a land teeming with wonders and adventure. As you embark on your journey to discover these enigmatic creatures, you’ll come to appreciate the lore surrounding them.

Catching Sacred Eels

Location and Requirements

To begin your sacred eel fishing journey, you must venture to the Piscarilius House in Great Kourend. Keep in mind that you’ll need a Fishing level of at least 72 and a Fishing rod. Additionally, it’s recommended to have started the “Client of Kourend” quest, which grants you access to the Piscarilius House.

The Fishing Process

Fishing for sacred eels involves a unique method. Unlike traditional fishing, you’ll use a special tool known as a “Fishing rod/swamp paste.” When you catch an eel, it will be in its raw form, which can then be cooked to create cooked sacred eels. The process offers a unique blend of fishing and cooking skills.

Benefits of Sacred Eels

Experience and Loot

Catching sacred eels not only provides valuable Fishing experience but also offers players the chance to obtain a variety of items. You can receive resources such as Zulrah’s scales and noted raw sharks, making it a profitable activity in addition to being a valuable source of experience points.

Cooking and Healing

Cooked sacred eels are renowned for their unique healing properties. When consumed, they not only restore hitpoints but also boost a player’s fishing level temporarily. This makes them a sought-after item for those engaging in combat or other physically demanding activities.
